Hardcover rebound 3/4 leather. LACKING 2 facsimile sheets on vellum with a color miniature enhanced in gold. In fair condition. Hinges remain tight and text block remains bound well. Light pencil markings to front. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. 19th Century reprint of the poem on Ogier the Dane, a legendary paladin of Charlemagne. The poem first appeared in the early 13th century, with its origins dating to around 1200-1215.
