Die vorliegende Studie analysiert fachdidaktische Fragen am Beispiel Technischer Bildung, wo sich in verschiedenen curricularen MINT-Konzepten finales und kausales Erkenntnisinteresse von Technik und Naturwissenschaft begegnen. Es werden wissenschaftstheoretische und domänenspezifische Bedingungen von Interdisziplinarität in der Fachdidaktik herausgearbeitet. Die Studie zeigt, wie disziplinäre fachdidaktische Forschungsansätze und didaktische Modelle im Spannungsfeld zwischen fachlicher und interdisziplinärer Perspektive interagieren können. Zudem werden Bedingungen für das Gelingen von Interdisziplinarität in der Didaktik reflektiert. Zwei grundlegende Modelle didaktischer Interdisziplinarität werden präsentiert, die erkenntnistheoretisch, kognitionspsychologisch und didaktisch fundiert sind. Diese Modelle ermöglichen die Überprüfung von Fächerverbünden hinsichtlich ihrer didaktischen Relevanz und bieten wertvolle Impulse für die curricularen Bildungsplanarbeiten, politische Entscheidu.

Aus diesem Diskurs resultierende Erkenntnisse kà nnen für die Fachdidaktik wichtige Impulse zur Reflexion und Konzeption lehr-lernbezogener Interdisziplinarität setzen. In dieser Synthese zeigt sich der Ansatz der Studie. Eine einschlägige Analyse fachdidaktischer Fragen wird am Beispiel Technischer Bildung durchgeführt, denn in unterschiedlichen curricularen MINT-Konzepten begegnen sich in einem Spannungsfeld finales und kausales Erkenntnisinteresse von Technik bzw. Naturwissenschaft in ihrer jeweils domänenspezifischen Entfaltung. Ergebnisse und Bedeutung der Studie Herausgearbeitet werden wissenschaftstheoretische und domänenspezifische Bedingungen von Interdisziplinarität in der Fachdidaktik. Am Beispiel der Didaktik Technischer Bildung wird aufgezeigt, wie sich disziplinäre fachdidaktische Forschungsansätze und didaktische Modelle im Spannungsfeld zwischen fachlicher und interdisziplinärer Perspektive begegnen kà nnen. Zahlreiche Bedingungen des Gelingens von Interdisziplinarität in der Didaktik werden mit Blick auf die Schulpraxis reflektiert. Die zentrale Bedeutung dieser Studie liegt darin, dass mit ihr zwei grundlegende Modelle didaktischer Interdisziplinarität vorgelegt werden. Diese Modelle sind erkenntnistheoretisch, kognitionspsychologisch und didaktisch begründet. Mit den von ihr bereitgestellten Kriterien kann nun überprüft werden, um welche Kategorie didaktischer Interdisziplinarität es sich bei ausgewählten Fächerverbünden der Schule handelt und wie ihr didaktischer Nutzen zu werten ist. Ansätze schulischer Interdisziplinarität aller Fächer kà nnen damit bei Bedarf didaktisch plausibel konzipiert werden. Die Studie bietet damit der curricularen Bildungsplanarbeit, den politischen Entscheidungsträgern, der fachdidaktischen Forschung und nicht zuletzt den Unterrichtenden wertvolle Impulse und ein konzeptionelles Werkzeug für domänenspezifisch sinnvoll umgesetzte Interdisziplinarität.
