Newspaper. 28p., folded tabloid underground newspaper, news, opinion, reports, actions, psychedelia, ads, illustrations, photos, evenly toned, wraps lightly soiled, address label on front wrap, else very good condition. Originally San Francisco Express Times. Rap Brown interview is from a Canadian underground conducted one week before Brown's shooting and capture, interviewer not named ("my name cannot appear") and apologizes for "terse" tone as he had "two automatic rifles trained on me throughout the interview". Interview concludes with Brown's warning against tampering with printed dialogue (distortions traceable to interviewer/publisher). Also find 1p. on Puerto Rican Young Lords, an alert on Vietnam weaponry (per a "zoology professor") that US is using explosives (the "BLU A2 B", p.4) just short of nuclear, he saw it take off the top of a mountain, Tackwood's expose' of police in L.A., and two doublespreads (4p.) on San Francisco police atrocities and spies. Other articles along with usual ads of the era.
