Hardcover. Condition: vg. 8vo. xiv, 257pp. Original blue cloth with gold lettering on spine and cover. Frontispiece b/w photograph of Alfred Jospe. A collection of essays by Alfred Jospe on Jewish life and education in the university as well as Jewish identity and thought. Alfred Jospe was a German-American rabbi, who fled the Nazis right before the start of World War II. He served as one of the major leaders of the Jewish campus organization Hillel for a number of decades. Head and tail of spine bumped. Overall in very good condition.
