Es wird deutlich, dass die Konzeption von Modellierungsaufgaben und ihr Einsatz in der Praxis zu einer differenten Kompetenzentwicklung beider Gruppen führen. Ferner lassen sich unterschiedliche, die Kompetenzentwicklung beeinflussende Faktoren, wie etwa das Vorwissen oder Überzeugungen zum mathematischen Modellieren, identifizieren.
