Single performance featuring John Cage as music director, Robert Rauschenberg as resident designer and stage manager, composer…and musician David Tudor. This event occurred in the shadow of the allegedly rigged winning of Biennale s grand prize by Robert Rauschenberg, apparently a heavy mix of soft and hard power politics on the part of the US. The company performed accompanied by compositions by John Cage, Toshi Ichiyanagi and Morton Feldman. Full details printed recto.
