Le 1er mai 2003, alors qu'on commémore le dixième anniversaire de sa mort, Eric Raynaud se penche par curiosité sur les archives de 1993. Une photo du Premier ministre le trouble : elle semble montrer un impact de balle au sommet du crâne. Il y aurait donc eu une deuxième balle. C'est-à-dire une de trop. C'est le début d'une enquête passionnante durant laquelle l'auteur se verra confirmer l'existence de ce deuxième projectile, rencontrera des dizaines de témoins, dans la Nièvre, à Paris et sur la Côte d'Azur, jusqu'à démontrer l'assassinat de Pierre Bérégovoy. Une enquête très discrète des Renseignements généraux, comme il le découvrira en route, arrive aux mêmes conclusions que lui. Ce fait majeur de la Ve République, longtemps occulté, est toujours resté suspect dans la mémoire collective, à propos de " Béré ", un homme proche de la " France d'en bas " Publié en 2007 par Alphée, broché avec une couverture souple en très bon état, format 14 x 2 x 22 cm, 249 pages.

Contains a glossy photo essay with 5 black & white photos of a major art installation by Raynaud. In 1996, after his father's death, the Paris textile dealer Berdj Achdjian gave carte blanche to Jean Pierre Raynaud to create an installation in his father's memory and to the memory of the one and one half million victims of the Armenian Genocide. The installation was completed by Raynaud in 2000 and is housed permanently at the gallery on 10 rue Miromesnil, Paris. Fair to good condition, with some scuffs to boards. The inside of front board has a skinned spot. The interior has one page corner crease, some crimps and a nick to foot of some of the early pages.

Part 1: The East Basilica. This first volume of the Mosaic Corpus of Turkey places her among the countries of the Mediterranean world and Western Europe publishing systematically the mosaic wealth in their own lands. The project followed the serious models of Recueil general des mosaìques de la Gaule and Mosaici antichi in Italia. The corpus project was initiated at a meeting of mosaic experts from six countries led by M. Sahin and D. Parrish and held at American Research Institute in Turkey, Istanbul, in 2004. The first volume of the project covers the mosaics from Xanthos. This volume prepared for publication by Marie-Patricia Raynaud presents, with all their phases, the floor pavements of the East Basilica employing very successfully both opus tessellatum and opus sectile techniques. Two more aspects of this work need to be underlined: first of all, the magnificent photographs and the successful reconstruction drawings and floor plans of the mosaics, which will provide the reader with a visual festivity. This volume with its publication and research quality is a strong start for the Mosaic Corpus of Turkey. This also means that a high standard is already established for the future monographs.
