Pp.148 Photos measure 14.5X20(cm). The photographer is unidentified. G. Closs & O. Froelicher were the artists whose paintings were photographed. Three or four pages of text per photo. The p…hotos were previously published in (3) earlier German editions but Bonney was at great liberty to make text changes for the US edition. Binding of thick bevelled boards with intricate design in embossed & gilt edge ruling around a central floral motif. Backstrip similar. Heavy edgewear, backstrip separated at rear hinge, MISSING top 2". Bright boards make for a good repair candidate. FINE photos & text, in FAIR binding. FAE. Albumen photos. (illustrator).
