Weslager on the state's Nanticoke peoples and the so-called "Moors" of Delaware. An individual of mixed racial heritage might be have been classified as a Delaware "Moor". Weslager gives a detailed -- if repellent by contemporary standards -- description of the presumed ethnicity and characteristics of the Delaware "Moors," Green cloth, 479 pages, illustrated.
