Also a typewritten poem titled "Coming Home" on beautiful 8x10 stationary and signed Edwin T. Reed with a handwritten inscription "Dear Friends/Yes we remember well the big snow/of '37! When I started this/stunt of typing individual/poems each different, in this/fashion, I didn't know what I/was in for!". Folded twice for mailing and laid-in. Clean unmarked copy, solid binding, boards a little bowed, some darkening to the gutters and age toned endpapers. Reed's papers are at Oregon State University, he was the editor of the college publications from 1912 til his retirement in 1943, and died in 1948. He is credited with writing the OSC creed, and was involved with the founding of the OAC Alumni publication, wrote three volumes of poetry and was a popular speaker. Signed by Author(s).
