Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. NO COPIES FOR SALE ANYWHERE and only two copies in libraries worldwide. Personal account of Glascock family who came in 1600's from Essex England and settled in Virginia. They later moved to Ralls County Missouri, in the section of Missouri known as 'Little Dixie with many migrant Southerners and slaves. This is mostly a memoir of family life at Cedar Maple Farm from the early years of the last century. Old photos throughout. Charming and much of interest, especially for Glascock genealogy.
