Boards are a little rubbed. Generally very good. Hinges are just beginning to loosen. Pages are age tanned but clean. Over 700 engravings and one colour plate to frontispiece by E. A. Smith and J. B. Zwecker, Engraved by G. Pearson. 4to. 670pp. A very attractive copy.
