Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition, Special Edition. I am pleased to offer an unusual book titled: "Tooth Carving Manual" published by the William Gold Refining Co. of Buffalo, New York, dated 1967. The back cover of this book opens like a tent to allow the reader to stand it on end and follow the guidance (please see my photos). According to the Preface: "The intention of this "Tooth Carving Manual" is to aid those people who have had limited professional training in tooth form and anatomy and desire an effective method of learning to carve restorations in wax for reproductions in Crown and Bridge, Restorative and the Rehabilitative field of Dentistry." Most of the book after a few pages of text are photo plates of teeth as a guide. Condition: This sturdy book is in very good condition. The hard covers are clean and bright and the spiral binding is without wear or issue. Inside, the book is unmarked although the high gloss title page has some light smears of something on the right-hand edge. The rest of the pages and plates are clean and bright, without toning or foxing. The binding is tight and sound. Donald E. Zimmerman, DDS (illustrator).

No-Stickee is a product created by the India Refining Company, which specialized in vegetable butters. The three separate recipe cards are to advertise the No-Stickee product to use with candy, promising to not only make candy stable and cut easily, but to also prevent it from sticking to teeth. Each recipe card has a different candy that includes use of the product. One is pink, one white, one blue, and the print is on one side. Each measures 5 3/4" x 5 1/2" India Refining Co. produced a "Science in Confectionary" booklet which included recipes that were altered for the use of their product. The three recipe cards seem to be taken from or inspired by the booklet. Good, slightly worn with a slight crease down the middle.
