Hardcover. Quarto, four volumes. In Good minus condition. Contained in brown and black marbled slipcases. Fully bound in brown leather with gilt ornamentation to boards and turn ins. Paneled spines with gilt ornamentation and lettering, has significant cracking and chipping throughout, and a loss of leather along the head/tail edges. Volume 4 has large pieces of leather torn away from the spine. Boards have mild rubbing wear, discoloration, and scuffing, and moderate bumping to corners resulting in exposed boards. Severe cracking to joint edges resulting in partially detached boards. Volume 1 front and rear boards are fully detached. Tetxblocks have marbled end papers, and an armorial bookplate on the front pastedowns. Has light age toning, light plus to severe foxing throughout, and minor soiling scattered on some pages throughout. Volume 1 has a loose bookplate contained between the 2nd and 3rd rear free end pages. Volume 3 has a stain along the head edges and head of the gutter on pages 1-381. Text in Greek and Latin.
