1st Printing (inferred). Printed bifolium, with printed slik pale green slip. Large decorative boarder on upper wrapper, smaller boarders on inside and on silk slip. Menu: approx. 6-1/2" x 4-1/4"; Slip: approx. 8" x 5" No OCLC listing. Restaurant not found in the on-line San Francisco City Directories from 1890 - 1940*, though the 1906 volume 2 not available The menu lists breakfast and lunch items as well as desserts. The slip is announcing "Unique Opening Dinner" which has us believing they started offering dinner service a bit later. The dinner is 85 cents and includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. The slip also states "Patrons will be pleased to learn after today we specialize in an extensive Menu". A quirky piece of food history. A Good - VG copy, age toning and soiling to covers and slip, with the moire slip is frayed at head and tail. Yellow, self wrappers with waxed stamp holding in place a decorative silver key by a sage green ribbon at head of upper wrapper, moire fabric slip, navy blue lettering. Now housed in a clear archival mylar sleeve.
