Covers surrounding area. Mentions: Romans, Christian pioneers, Saxons, Canterbury Pilgrims, Peasants' Revolt, King Henry Eighth, the English Civil War, and the coming of the Railways. King Henry Vlll, with his Queen Catherine of Aragon, attended a "Robin Hood" pageant on the heath on May-Day, 1511, is interesting.
