    Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 262p. A dark brown cloth hardcover book in FAIR condition. Spine has almost entirely chipped off, leaving the front boards lightly loose. Corners heavily scuffed. All pages heavily foxed, but otherwise unmarked. Pages tightly bound, despite external damage. Anti-Catholic work by Evangelical Lutheran minister Louis Giustiniani (1791- 1855), who grew up in the Catholic faith and even became a priest, but later renounced the Church in favor of Protestantism. He was the first missionary to Western Australia's Swan River Colony, where he clashed with the colonial authorities due to his staunch advocacy for the Aboriginals.
