THE SPINE IS A LITTLE FADED MAKING THE GILT LETTERING LIGHT. THERE IS A SMALL STAIN TO THE FRONT COVER AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO. THE PAGES ARE GENERALLY CLEAN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A DEDICATION WRITTEN ON THE FFEP DATED 1885, AND A PLATE FOR THE EBENEZER SUNDAY SCHOOL LIBRARY ATTACHED TO THE PAGE FACING THE CONTENTS PAGE. THE BINDING IS REASONABLY FIRM. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A HARD TO FIND EDITION.
