Title etc clearly shown on front boards with an outline of the gentleman in gilt, gilt lettering on spine also. 170 pages good and clean yellowing a little, gilt edged. Corners of boards bumped. Front fly sheet between board split. Pages tightly bound. Wood engravings throughout the book.

A 2" closed tear to the spine of volume two. Light sunning to the spine with the odd small mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small handling mark or pencil mark. Light age toning to the extremities. Ink stamp to the front endpapers of volumes two and three. Good Only. book.
