White cloth hard covers with a gilt decoration on the front cover and gilt page edges. 4 ¾ by 3 ¼ inches. 96 pp. With a certificate page preceding the title page, filled out, indicating the marriage between the two people on the form, dated 1882. As the title indicates, this book gives advice to newly married couples on how to live happily married and within God's teachings, as well as explaining the importance of marriage. VERY GOOD condition. Minor soiling and toning to the covers. Light edgewear. Text block rather toned.

An engraved frontispiece shows the Marriage at Cana. Tissue guard. Prettily bound in ribbed moire silk boards with a honeycomb pattern and a bouquet of roses in gilt. Cracked along spine extenally, and with preliminary blank and fp foxed.
