Cloth. Condition: Very Good. no date, presumed mid 1800s. White cloth hard covers with a gilt decoration on the front cover and gilt page edges. 4 ¾ by 3 ¼ inches. 96 pp. With a certificate page preceding the title page, filled out, indicating the marriage between the two people on the form, dated 1882. As the title indicates, this book gives advice to newly married couples on how to live happily married and within God's teachings, as well as explaining the importance of marriage. VERY GOOD condition. Minor soiling and toning to the covers. Light edgewear. Text block rather toned.

32mo.; white cloth covered boards with gilt, hardcover; 96 pages with gilt edges; black and white frontispiece; a gift inscription on front free endpaper dated 25 Dec. 1848; boards are heavily rubbed and soiled else good.

Hardcover; American Tract Society; 1865; G+, No date but Mini marriage certificate is filled in and has a date of 1866, 3 1/2" x 5" embossed golden cloth boards, lettering on spine is hard to read, cover soiled and light edge wear, AEG, inscription in pencil on fep is to the people listed on the marriage certificate.

Cloth rubbed at extremities; contents clean and fine. Elegant 1838 ink presentation inscription on the front free endpaper, carefully decorated with and ornamental border.

[vi]96pp. A sweet little book, with a certificate of the marriage of Mr. David Long and Miss Elizabeth Curry in Philadelphia, May 29th, 1856. The names, place and date are filled in by hand. An engraved frontispiece shows the Marriage at Cana. Tissue guard. Prettily bound in ribbed moire silk boards with a honeycomb pattern and a bouquet of roses in gilt. Cracked along spine extenally, and with preliminary blank and fp foxed.

Leatherette. Condition: Very Good with no dust jacket. 96 pages; Frontis is a two page 'Certificate' for Frederick H Sears united in marriage with Edith May Wilder in Clinton Mass at Dec 17 1884. Nice copy with a stain on front cover. 4.25 x 3.125".
