Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean.

Black and white illustrated plates throughout. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Moderate cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, boards slightly loose. Staining to endpapers and pastedowns. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with fraying to cloth to spine.
