Quarter Leather. Condition: Good. Illustrated (illustrator). First Edition. First edition. Extremely rare biography of James Wait (also Watt, Wait, Wayte, Waite), a minister born in Greenlaw, Scotland in 1731. Marble paper over boards, leather spine, gilt titles. Frontispiece engraving showing Wait and his family. pp. vi, 108. Inscription inside front board indicates it was once owned by Barnstable Baptist Library. Edgewear, rubbing to corner of board, chip to leather spine on interior. Solid copy in good condition.
