Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Fifth Edition Revised and Corrected. 296pp. Circa 1859. The only date noted in the volume is of the first edition, likely printed in 1846. Bound in original dark brown cloth. Volume admits to several small bumps to extremities, with light wear to exterior. Gilt lettering and rule on spine remain largely bright. Back hinge a little shaken, though text block remains square. Tiny chips to endpapers. Mild tanning to overall nice paper. Text clean. Overall, a clean, sound, attractive copy. The author, Rev. Sheil was a Roman Catholic Bishop. This text was approved by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Fenwick, Bishop of Boston. VERY SCARCE.
