Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. Limited Edition. This gorgeous limited edition - one of only 350 copies with an original Rex Whistler bookplate tipped in - is a prime example of fine small press editions. Smooth acid free paper, elegantly designed by David Cambers, with a superb text by Brian North Lee. It is contained in a black slipcase, the book itself is protected in stiff acetate, and the binding is in sewn sections. A great and scholarly tribute to a very great designer and artist. What a loss to British Art! RW was killed during a tank battle in the second world war at only 39 years old. There is an attractive blind stamp of a former owner on the front endpaper.
