Some ephemera re. family history of ownership laid in. 572 pp. with 21 colour plates with tissue guards tipped in. The book is in a very good condition with just very minor shelf-wear and light tanning to the extremities. The binding is tight. Dedication to reverse of frontispiece to former owner on her retirement from the millinery department, dated 1911, with company stamp at end. There is light foxing to the edges and list of illustrations, there are very occasional odd spots scattered throughout the book. Overwhelmingly, the pages are clean and unmarked. The slip case is poor with the spine side missing and heavy shelf-wear and tanning to the remainder, sellotape repairs. An unusually well conserved copy. Book weighs 2 kg., additional postage will be required.
