Fading to lettering on spine, along with loss to cloth at top and bottom. Hinges remain in good condition and text block is bound well. Frontispiece at front. A scarce 1st edition on the Dorr Rebellion, which established a parallel government in Rhode Island to protest mass disenfranchisement of the state s male population.
