La raccolta di tavole è preceduta da un sommario (costituito da 20 schede a doppia pagina) che ripercorre i temi chiave del corso, facendo riferimento alle tavole stesse. Volume non datato risalente, probabilmente, alla fine dell'800 - inizio '900, appartenuto ad un allievo la cui firma è presenta a pastello blu sul margine superiore dell'anteporta. Stato di conservazione: una piega (causata da una maldestra chiusura del volume) interessa una pagina del sommario, su alcune tavole sono presenti (più che altro a matita con l'eccezione di due o tre a pastello) discrete annotazioni che non risultano essere affatto deturpanti. Nel complesso si tratta di un ottimo esemplare. Rilegatura con piatti in cartone rigido marmorizzati e dorso in pelle. Titoli in oro sul dorso. . Come si può notare dalle fotografie (che fanno parte integrante della descrizione) ciascuna tavola risulta essere assai nitida e dettagliata anche nei particolari. Le didascalie all'interno delle tavole sono, ovviamente, in lingua francese. Volume prezioso per la conoscenza delle antiche macchine industriali agricole e idrauliche, utile anche a chi si trovasse a restaurare antichi modelli.
