Einband an den Kanten berieben, Buchschnitt schmuddelig und stockfl., innen sonst in Ordnung, 254 S., Frakturschrift, geb. Illustrierter Reisebericht über das Amazonasgebiet. Mit acht farbigen Bildern nach Aquarellen von Franz Heckendorf. H. (1888-1962) wurde zunächst durch den Expressionismus gesprägt und später v.a. durch seine Aquarelle bekannt. Einige seiner Werke wurden in der NS-Zeit als "entartet" vernichtet, er selbst zu KZ-Haft verurteilt, da er Juden vor einer Deportation zur Flucht in die Schweizt verhalf. Vierter Band der achten Jahresreihe für die Mitglieder dieses Volksverbandes und nur an diese abgegeben. Gramm 600.
