There are little, if any at all, signs of wear to the boards, which remain strong and square, with charming silver gilt to the front. The gilt to the spine is somewhat rubbed however. Internally, there are no inscriptions, although there is some very light and sporadic foxing throughout. Aside from this, the pages within are clean, crisp and complete.
