Super octavo hardcover (VG-) LACKS FEP; all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Octavo black faux leather boards, marbled edges, endpapers with mother & baby illus., illus., 1040pp, incl. manikin of the female figure (showing the Internal Organs, with the Pregnant Uterus) and pocket appendix at rear ie. a pocket containing (1) Directions for Emergency Confinement in the Home pamphlet and (2) 3x cut out children's illustrations (quite likely incomplete, one is just a head, possibly of exogenous origin, showing children playing with kittens & lambs), VG+ (light soiling to boards & contents, generally clean & tidy).

HARDCOVER. SIGNS PUBLISHING COMPANY, Publication date is unstated but assumed to be early 1900's (c1905). Bound in green illustrated cloth boards which are edge rubbed and lightly soiled. Marbled edges. The contents are fine and unmarked and the binding is excellent. Complete with the "Pocket Appendix" in the rear pocket. Scans available if required.
