Rubbed with light scratches. Inside pages clean and unmarked, except for author's signature. An anecdotal account of the life and art of John David Kelly, a commercial artist known for his works featuring Canadian historical scenes on the Confederation Life calendars and elsewhere. Kelly was born in Gore's Landing and attended school in Percy Township, near Warkworth in Northumberland County, Ontario. He spent time visiting his home area as an older adult, where he met the author. The book tells the history of some of the extended family of he area as well.
