First Edition
Condition: Fair. 1959. First Edition. 228 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white photographic plates. Light foxing and moderate tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, slightly lighter to pastedowns and free endpapers. Light creasing to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning with visible tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends.
