Translated by Emile Victor Rieu, a British classicist, publisher, poet and translator. He initiated the Penguin Classics series of books in 1946 and edited it for twenty years. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original glassine wrapper is smart with minor wear to the extremities and sunning to the spine. Minor loss to the head of the spine.
