Édition originale et unique de cette monographie consacrée aux oeuvres conservées au musée de la manufacture de por…celaine de Sèvres. Elle est complète en deux parties, texte et album en un seul volume. Après la préface détaillant l'histoire et le contenu du musée de Sèvres, il se trouve le texte du catalogue à la classification méthodique par type d'oeuvres, nature des matériaux puis lieu de production. Enfin un tableau des monogrammes, signatures et signes des céramiques achève le volume de texte. Le volume d'illustrations débute sur l'indicateur de l'explication des figures qui permet de trouver le numéro de la notice associé à un objet. Les 80 planches sont lithographiées la plupart en couleurs et gommées. Elles comprennent plusieurs figures par planche. Exemplaire aux couleurs très fraîches.
