Several illustrations from photographs. Light wear to spine and edges, a clean and attractive copy of a book which is difficult to find in nice shape.

248 pp, illustrated frontispiece, b&w photographic plates, gift inscription on front end-paper, off-setting from tape on d/j, else fine copy in very good, illustrated d/j. Thunderbolt (Fred Ward) bushranged around central NSW.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. First edition, no dust wrapper. Signed by publisher upon half-title page: 'To my friend Keith Campbell'. Red boards with faded gilt lettering on spine. Covers are lightly thumbed and rubbed, particularly at the edges. Spine sunned. Covers have small patches of discolouration, front and back. Front cover bears a crease. Edges are showing some light wear. Head and tail of spine bumped, corners rounded. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear some moderate discolouration and foxing. Page edges are also lightly discoloured and foxed, particularly at the head edge. Binding is tidy.
