Full Leather. Condition: Fine. Complete 10 volume set. 28 x 20.5 cm. Quarto. Bound into full dark blue leather with gilt design. lettering, and foredges. 4 raised bands to pale blue spine labels, moire endpapers, silk ribbon. Includes thousands of scenes photographed from 1861-65 with text from a variety of authors and experts. Noted as the Semi-Centennial Memorial ediiton with the interior being a facsimile of "The Review of Reviews" 1911 edition. Unused Easton Press bookplate laid-in for each volume. A few minor scratches to gilt foredges of volume 4. Beautiful set in collectible condition.
