QUITE RARE HC book has pale blue boards with dark blue font on spine and sleeping child illustration on fc, and is in Good + shape with bumped but still sharp corners and good spine ends. Some very light yellowing around cover edges, minimum shelf wear, small stain on fc. Blue eps, very tight, clean, square, no markings of any kind inside or out, no foxing, and odor free. This is an excellent informational hospital reference volume with understated but eye catching illustrations. Matching blue illustrated DJ is in Good shape with yellowed edges, minor chipping at spine ends, cup stain ring and wrinkles on fc. Not price clipped. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Signed! A VG- stated First Edition 8vo paperback signed by the author--no inscription--on the initial page. The contents (x + 262 pp.) otherwise appear clean, complete and securely bound albeit with some early pages having slight lower corner tip wear. Very light thumbing--i.e., soiling from handling--to a portion of the pages' fore edge. The spine is square but does have a reading crease. Modest, primarily cosmetic wear to the covers which have a white rather than light blue background. This wear includes a nick to the lower front corner tip; light rubbing and a very light crease to a portion of the front cover's fore edge; a few small soiling spots in the front; and what Seller suspects is a blacked-out price on the rear cover. No remainder or ex-library markings.
