Hand colored frontis and title pages, woodcuts; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 187 pages; Hardcover in original pebbled blue cloth with pictorial vignette and rules to edges of cover brightly in gilt; title design at spine just a little dulled, as usual. Tightly bound and fresh; contents printed by Eugene Connett on laid paper at the Derrydale Press. Hand colored frontis engraving by Ball and handcolored illustrated title page. Limited edition # 137 of 250 copies. usual light toning in the endpage gutters from the period binder's glue. Top edge gilt. Most pages unopened at the front edge. Handsome and well preserved copy.
