96 n. n. pages. With 88 drawings. Green original cloth binding. (A little used). 23x14 cm * The Eighth International Psychoanalytic Congress took place in April, 1924, at Salzburg, Austria, where the first meeting of psychoanalysts had been held in 1908. A unique record of this Congress exists in a series of caricatures made of 88 participants by two famous artists, Olga Szekely-Kovacs and Robert Bereny. Among those who came to Salzburg were nine who had attended the first meeting; however, Professor Freud who had been recuperating from an operation was not sufficiently recovered to be able to be there. It was the first time he did not attend a Congress. The original drawings were presented to Freud and a private edition was issued for the participants. This is a first edition available to the public. Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 200.
