A letter regarding the formation of column of Cavalry by General Murray being sent to General Codrington. Lieutenant Colonel Charles Cameron Shute 1816-1904 was a British army officer and Conservative Party politician. He was mentioned in despatches for his service at Balaclava and was recommended for the award of the Victoria Cross. Condition is good. Folding crease. More images can be taken upon request.
