First Edition Signed
First edition, first printing Interesting issue edited by two friends Robert Bly and David Ray. Legend has it that the two editors had permission to publish E.E. Cummings and then at the last moment after publication, permission was removed by E.E. Cummings and this is indicated by hand with all black out lines and black out with two pages removed. This is the expurgated edition. From the library of poet William Matthews who has fully signed the opening flyleaf as a young man: "William P. Matthews III" dated 1966. Good wraps with overall gentle use and light tanning to back cover. It has been read and loved.
