The author was a photographer from Arkansas City, KS who, with wagon and mules hauled his photographic equipment in 1880-1909 among the 66 tribes that had settled in Oklahoma. During this time he made 10,000 glass plate negatives of Indians, early white rancher, pressing land seekers, the land rushes, settlement itself, and the coming of comparative affluence. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
