In overall near-fine condition with only slight signs of age, handling and storage - boards rubbed to corners and spine just a touch faded. Binding tight and appears unread. Internally clean, no annotation, inscriptions or foxing - previous owners bookplate (Richard B. Martin, banker and MP) to front pastedown; text, folding plan of the Holy Sepulchre and illustrations bright and clear throughout. A particularly handsome copy. Photographs available.
