1st edition, 1st printing stated. Trade (5 1/4" X 8") size,159pp paperback original. Inscribed on the front half title page as follows: "Best Wishes/ to my good/ really good friend/Roger Friedman/ from/ Bob Pharr" . A Very Good copy. Spine has slight wrinkling and tiny rub marks at the tips. Top edge of the rear cover has a faint stain mark that shows on the verso of the cover but does not penetrate the page blocks (see picture 5 above). Paper lightly toned else unmarked. Pharr an African-American Novelist (1916-1989) published 5 novels. He is best know for his debut novel which was adapted into a film by the same name in 1973.
