Color offset printing by the Creative-Litho and bound by Taurus Bookbindery. The typefaces are a special interpress version of the Giovanni Mardersteig's Dante for the text with Greco Adornado and Rialto Italic for display." Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. Light sunning and offsetting and a few almost imperceptible scratch marks on front cover. A small dampstain on back cover. A Fine copy. Excerpt from the Introduction: "The 2005 keepsake of The Book club of California is a response to the continuing widespread interest in and, indeed, fascination with bookplates. The universe of the subject matter of bookplates is immense, and the number of them put into use or collected in the more than five centuries of their existence in the Western world is great. In order to make the task of putting this keepsake together manageable, the initiator of the project decided to restrict the bookplates illustrated in the keepsake to those that were in the exhibits of The Book Club of California of 1913, 1953, and 2002.".
