Contents include Ancient Galashiels; Torwoodlee; Bowland; Luggate; Stow; Heriot; Leaderfoot; Earlston; Lauder; Innerleithen; Place Names; Glentress Water. 66 pages plus, four photographic plates, and fold-out map inside back cover. The ultra-rare dust jacket gives the name and place of the publisher which is otherwise not stated in the book itself, the book in very good condition. The jacket has traces of early sellotape strengthing but the rather attractive dust wrapper with green lettering, also featuring a map and accompanying text, is now protected and still presents well.
