Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with tears, chips, and some areas of loss. Noticeable rubbing and marking.

Hardback in dustwrapper. 23 × 15.5cm, 61pp. From the dustwrapper, "Seven charming stories for children age about six to ten. In the days of 'Uncles' in the Children's Hour, one of the favourite Midland figures was 'Uncle Robert', he was Robert Tredinnick". Illustrated in colour and black and white by John Read. Condition: The book is in good condition, with light foxing to the prelims and page edges but the main body of text clean and presentable. The dustwrapper has loss at the top of the spine and either side to the boards, and light edgewear along the bottom edge. It has not been price-clipped.
