First edition, hardcover, has a skew to the binding, light bumps to the spine ends, slight sunning to the spine and edges, and some small spots and stains to the head and tail edges of the text block. Overall, a solid, tight, Very Good copy in an unclipped, Good+ dust jacket, which has chips and creased tears to the spine ends, edges and corners, sunning to the spine and edges, and rubbing with a few areas of light soiling. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.

There is a small, light stain on the front cover, and there is a minor moisture stain on the top fore edge corner of the text block. Ex-libris Laura Gilpin, with her name in pen on the front free endsheet. Laura Gilpin is the author and photographer of the book Enduring Navaho.

Introduction by George Biddle. This is a limited edition with original signed lithograph. This is #34 of unknown quantities. Good (light shelfwear and soiling to boards, binding is secure, pages are clean and clear. Slipcase has heavy wear, tears and crude taped repairs).
