An attractive and varied set of materials, mainly consisting of "copies of jobs done," as labeled on the folder housing the collection. Gregory Francis Robison attended Seattle Prep School and apparently began printing at a fairly early age; we find in newspapers he likely graduated ca. 1972, and the earliest piece in this collection is dated 1967. From small senior prom keepsakes to finely printed party invitations, there is a definite sense of progression of artistry and technique in the items. Interestingly, this archive also contains two manuscript essays on Pacific Northwest Coast Indians, both copyrighted in 1968, and one with a Library of Congress Cat. No. no less. The Archive includes: 1. 9 Small tickets, business cards, announcements, etc. for local events, several for clubs at Seattle Prep including Harlequin Club productions. A couple are dated in 1971 and 1972. 2. 2 small Seattle Prep Prom keepsakes from 1967 and 1971, both bound in blue card covers with blue string ties. 3. 9 Larger format, finely printed invitations, programs, advertisements, Christmas cards, etc. a couple dated from 1971-1981. A couple are from Seattle Prep events and several are for family gatherings. 4. 7 letterheads, printed envelopes, printed invoices, and a notice of various sizes. Most are for Seattle area individuals and businesses. 5. 2 essays: "A Brief Study of the Culture of the Pacific Northwest Coast Indians," [7] typed pages, staple bound, front cover hand lettered and illustrated, with a few interior illustrations, copyright 1968, LOC Cat. No L258499."The Indian Struggle For Survival," [8] mimeographed pages, tape bound, with tables, 3 hand-drawn maps at rear, copyright 1968. . Archive of ephemeral printed materials and two typed essays, both with hand drawn or colored illustrations. Generally very good or better with the occasional scuff or crease.
