Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good+. Inscribed and Signed. 223 Pages. Inscribed and signed by Andy Robustelli to Dr. Bill. Not specifically stated as a first edition, but states that it was printed in August 1987. Fine condition book in a very good+ dust jacket. This is a deep dive into the New York Giants Football team back in the 1950s and 1960s when Andy Robustelli played for them and then takes us inside the team and its internal workings when he took over the football operations in 1973. The book's dust jacket has light to moderate worn areas at the top and bottom of its spine, on all four corners, and a small white spot on the front cover's left side. It is now encased in a protective clear plastic envelope. The interior book, however, outside of the inscription and signature on the first page in from the front cover, has no visible extraneous markings, detriments, or distractions throughout it, and thus all printing and photographs remain in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition and its sewn-in bindings remain tight and therefore are sound. If you order this important-to-have book for all Giants fans, we will carefully wrap it up, then pad and box it, and mail it right away to you with both insurance and tracking and it will come with our genuine appreciation for your order.

Signed by Pro Football Hall of Famer Andy Robustelli in thick black marker on the blank first front endpaper. ".an explosive book, one that millions of Giants fans have waited to read for years. The ultimated Giants book, it touches two eras of fans (including many who lived through both eras) - those who celebrated the glories and those who suffered the agonies. It is the one book that can provide answers to the unresolved questions, that can put into perspective, once and for all, the complex events of the seventies that mired this great team in mediocrity and delayed that return to glory that the long-awaited championship of 1986 finally provided for Giants fans everywhere." About Andy Robustelli: Andy spent fourteen seasons in the NFL, including nine with the New York Giants, where he was both team captain and playing defensive coach, He played in seven Pro Bowls and capped his playing career by being selected to Pro Football's Hall of Fame. From 1974 to 1978 he was the Giants' Director of Operations.".
